Editorial Standards
Last updated: June 2026
Formula Hardware is committed to providing accurate, impartial, and trustworthy editorial content about the job market, tech hiring, and career development. These standards govern every article published on our platform.
Our core principles
- Accuracy: Every factual claim is verified before publication. We cite primary sources wherever possible and correct errors promptly.
- Transparency: We disclose conflicts of interest, funding relationships, and sources of information that may influence our coverage.
- Independence: Editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers, sponsors, and commercial partners. No advertiser may influence article content.
- Fairness: We present multiple perspectives on contested topics and do not take partisan positions.
- Accountability: We correct mistakes quickly and transparently. See our Corrections Policy.
Research process
Our authors draw on official government data (e.g. BLS, ONS), peer-reviewed research, company filings, and on-the-record interviews with industry experts. Secondary sources are cross-referenced against primary data before publication.
Expert contributors
Guest contributors and named sources are verified as genuine practitioners in their stated field. Each author profile includes credentials, relevant experience, and verifiable social presence. We do not publish anonymous opinion pieces on factual topics.
Sponsored and commercial content
Sponsored posts are clearly labelled “Sponsored Content” and are visually distinct from editorial articles. Sponsorship does not influence the editorial content adjacent to it. Our editorial team does not accept payment to cover companies or individuals in news articles.
Updates to standards
These standards are reviewed quarterly. Material changes are noted at the top of this page. Questions can be directed to our editorial team via the Contact page.
