Corrections & Clarifications
Last updated: June 2026
Formula Hardware corrects factual errors promptly and transparently. We believe readers deserve to know when published information has changed and why.
How we handle corrections
- Discovery: Errors are identified by editors, authors, or readers via the contact form.
- Verification: The editorial team verifies the claimed error against primary sources.
- Correction: Confirmed errors are corrected in the article text within 24 hours of verification.
- Notice: A correction notice is appended to the article noting the date and nature of the change.
- Significant errors: Where an error materially changes the meaning of an article, a standalone correction note is placed at the top of the article.
Clarifications vs. corrections
A correction is a factual error. A clarification is additional context that makes an accurate statement more precise or less likely to be misunderstood. Both are labelled and dated when added to published articles.
What we do not correct
We do not change the substance of editorial opinions or analysis after publication unless a factual basis for that opinion is found to be incorrect. Minor stylistic edits (grammar, formatting) are made without a correction notice.
